Annual Club Tennis Tournaments
Remember to enter the Club Annual tennis tournaments, which have events for all playing levels – we would love as many members as possible to enter. First round matches will start week commencing 10 May with Finals Day on Saturday 18 September 2021 – please note you must be available for Finals Day to enter.
The main five tournaments are open to all members, there are 40+ & 55+ mixed singles, the Roger De Klerk Trophy is for mixed doubles pairs who play on Wednesday evening club night, and the Silver and Bronze league singles are for anyone playing in those leagues or eligible for them. If you are unsure about your eligibility for a specific event, please contact me to check.
You are allowed to enter up to FOUR events – deadline for entry has been extended to Monday 3 May.

Grounds Working Party – Bank Holiday Monday 3 May
Thank you to those who have volunteered to help with clearing up the area in the north-west corner of the site. The aim is to clear out the area and tidy up the cuttings, etc. So, perhaps a bit of digging or trimming!
If you can spare a couple of hours, we’ll be starting at 10.00am and finish up around 2.00pm. I’ll provide some refreshments to keep you going, so please let me know if you can make it – even if only for an hour or so.

Tennis Club Play – Wednesday & Sunday
Please remember to book your place for club play to ensure we can fill up the courts! It’s a great opportunity to meet other members if you are new to the Club. Each member is allocated to a club play session – please contact me if you are unsure what session to attend.
