Annual Club Tournament Finals Day – Saturday 21 September 2024

The culmination of the annual competitions that started back in April that saw a record number of entries – over 140 players in total!

Tennis finals start at 11.00am and play through to around 5.00pm: Men’s & Women’s Singles, Men’s & Women’s Doubles, and Mixed Doubles – all first played for in 1900 – plus Men’s 40 & over Singles, Women’s 45 & over Singles, Men’s 55 & over Singles, 60 & over Mixed Doubles, Men’s Plate, and the Roger De Klerk Memorial Trophy for Improver/Intermediate level players – 11 Finals in all. 

Squash finals start at 11.30am with the Plate event, followed by the Open Singles at 12.15pm, and presentations at around 1.00pm.

The bar will open from 10.30am with food available to buy from a pop up burger stall from lunchtime. Look out for the full schedule from 16 September on the Club noticeboards and come along to support – it’s always a great day!

The Women’s Plate Final will take place on Saturday 14 September at 1.00pm on court 7 between Lisa Muten and Cora Govett.

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club the following hours between 14-20 September: Saturday from 0900-1500, Sunday 0900-1500, Monday 0900-1500, Tuesday 1030-1930, and Friday 0900-1800. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
Remember that the bar is open Monday to Thursday from 7.00-10.00pm, Friday evening if there is an event taking place, and Saturday/Sunday when the Club Manager is on site.
