Club Recognition Awards
This year’s AGM is scheduled for Thursday 7 November. Full information will be circulated in due course, but we are looking for nominations for the Recognition Awards that were launched last year.
The Volunteer Recognition Award is for both short and long term voluntary contributions, and the Special Recognition Award for longer term service to the Club in either a paid or voluntary capacity. You will find full details of the criteria for these awards here, along with a list of previous recipients.
If you think someone should be honoured at the AGM, please put your nomination forward to me by email – deadline for nominations is Friday 11 October 2024 – with a brief explanation of why you think this person is deserving.

Kent Tennis Inter-Club Final – Saturday 7 September 2024 
The Club Men’s Doubles 1st team won Kent Division 3A over the Summer season that has recently finished. This means that they have a play-off Final against Bromley Wendover 3 for the league title.
Fortunately, we have a home draw so please feel free to come along and support. The match starts at 1.00pm on courts 6 & 7.

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club the following hours between 7-13 September: Saturday from 0900-1500, Sunday 0900-1500, Monday 0900-1200, Tuesday 0900-1200, and Friday 0900-1500. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.
Remember that the bar is open Monday to Thursday from 7.00-10.00pm, Friday evening if there is an event taking place, and Saturday/Sunday when the Club Manager is on site.
