American Doubles Tournament & Burger Night – Friday 1 November 2024
The next tournament will take place during the Autumn half-term week – beginning at 6.45pm. You will play a game of mixed doubles for 15 minutes before everything changes – the court you play on, the opposing team, and even your doubles partner! All playing categories are welcome to take part. Find out more here.
After the popularity of Finals Day, Meat and Bread will be setting up their pop-up burger tent again adjacent to tennis court 1 throughout the evening. The bar will be open for refreshments, and table tennis will be available in the hall from 6.30pm. Why not book a court, grab a drink in the bar, and order your burger?

Members’ Information
All members were sent a short survey regarding the future development of the Club and the services it provides. It will be really useful to get feedback about these matters, so please take the time to complete, it’s only brief – let me know if you need me to send again.
Also, apologies that the new Members’ Handbook didn’t go out as previously indicated. This will now go out over the weekend with all the latest information.
Remember that there are several matters, around safeguarding, security and tennis club play sessions, that have important updated information. Please read carefully to see if there are any changes relevant to your Club membership and contact me if you need clarification.

Club Manager Hours
I will be available at the Club the following hours between 5-11 October: Saturday from 0900-1500, Sunday 0900-1500, Wednesday 0900-1500, and Thursday 0900-1500. During these times you can obtain drinks & snacks from the bar, as well as balls & accessories, and hire the Slinger ball machine.

Remember that the bar is open Monday to Thursday from 7.00-10.00pm, Friday evening if there is an event taking place, and Saturday/Sunday when the Club Manager is on site.
